Ducks for bug control

Today, we made an attempt of getting the ducks out of the duck run and into the garden for some bug and snail control. They were not too keen to get out and needed convincing, some of them we simply had to literally throw out 😉 .

Ducks are amazing for doing bug and snail control. Unlike chicken, they do not scratch and eat all your seedlings. They just poke around in the ground for meaty stuff. Only drawback is their big paddle feet that sometimes tend to flatten little plants.
