Auckland stays peaceful during the holiday exodus as farm life continues. Time off work means tackling essential fence repairs and dealing with cheeky goats testing boundaries.
The goats decided to go through the fenced off area with shrubs and decimate them. No good. Turns out, the poly wires were too old and did not work any more as they should.
Today, we made an attempt of getting the ducks out of the duck run and into the garden for some bug and snail control. They were not too keen to get out and needed convincing, some of them we simply had to literally throw out.
