Sunshine, rain and lots of grass

The sun has been more prevalent and the odd shower has helped all plants to grow a lot. It’s nice to see so much fresh green in various shades. The weather has been warming up over the the last days and we are getting 20 deg during the day.

This year was the first time that we had grass cut into haylage in prep for the winter that will be coming eventually. Meaning we have to buy les feed in. But what hard work it was, loading 50 bales onto the trailer and off again. Probably 2 tons of bales handled twice. That does not mean you cannot have fun while doing the work.
