Riverhead Forest

Riverhead Forest is an urban forest, much enjoyed by the locals for dog walking, trail running, mountainbiking, motocross and horse riding.
There is an endless and ever-changing network of trails in this pine plantation forest. The forest covers 4846 hectares at the township of Riverhead, just 10-15 minutes from Pukeatua Farmstay.
Best access is from Old North Road and then turn off into Ararimu Valley Road. From there you’ll find several car parks and entry points. Please feel free to talk to us.
