Cuckoo style eggs

Honky has been sitting on the duck egss for a few days but then sadly decided to abandon them and we hope not for a good reason.

Contrary to Honky, our frizzle hen Fluffy has been broody for several weeks and been sitting on no eggs – chicken brains are funny.

So we decided we give it a go and shoved the three duck eggs under her. She’s been a happy chicken now for two weeks and very protective on top.

Let’s see what comes out of the eggs.
