Another storm has been announced last night, so early this morning we finished the horse shelter area and moved the two boys over so they are going to have a more comfortable place during the day when the weather closes in.

It is getting somewhat busy in the kitchen. The kittens are getting more mobile, have left their home and mom is running busily after them. It also means that you really have to watch your steps as there may be some nosy little creature crawling around between your feet.

After the storm: Back online

The storm that hit us last Tuesday evening with wind speeds of more than 200km/h (Manukau Heads) left us without power and internet and only limited cell phone coverage. Power was restored yesterday afternoon, 3 days later.
