Last night was equinox – a good reason to have a bonfire and celebrate with our guests and some friends.

Summer’s dry spell brings the perfect opportunity for essential farm maintenance – from clearing drains and grading driveways to moving logs and managing stockpiled materials.

The wind finally eased down a bit but the arctic blast was still on. With chilly temperatures outside, what’s better than a nice fire? A fire with marshmallows!

Day one of not going out to anywhere, not having contact with anybody outside the property in an attempt to flatten the infection curve. National state of emergency.

We have officially started the fire season. It’s pretty yucky and rainy out there. Hope everyone is well.

We could not have asked for a better and more beautiful night for our May bonfire. We invited some friends for Walpurgis night, the last night in April.
