Video: Our new calfies Agnes Moo, Abigail Nosy Moo and Angela Moo just arrived last weekend. Agnes has been scouring for the past two days and gets some special care. That day we had a hail storm coming up outside.

Such a lovely day today, the cows have been laying in the paddocks sucking up the sunshine, the horses looked happier today even though there is still no grass to eat around and the alpaca boy were having play fight after inspecting us closely.

Tatjana took a lovely picture this morning and it’s too cool not to share it. Makes you appreciate nature and our lovely spot again. And another example that mornings can be very special and energizing, even though Tatjana would not agree on that one.

After the rainy weekend we got busy outside again. Saturday we weeded the paddock and sowed new grass plus added fertiliser. Sunday we got the concrete mixer out and got builders mix and cement from Waimauku Landscape supplies to pour concrete into the animal shelter.

After almost months of no rain and hardly any grass growth, we finally have some rain. Some. I guess it may be classified as another 1:50 years storm of which we should be prepared to have more, more
