And just like that it’s winter again

Feels like summer was just happening. The ever changing mix of sunshine and rain has started the rainbow season.

The mornings have been quite often foggy and the fog is following the Kaipara river in the valley.

Feels like summer was just happening. The trees have been turning red over the last few weeks with lots of rain and storm. We had to light the fire a few times for some cold nights and managed to have a bonfire on a nice weekend.

Winter started off beautifully with warm days and sunshine over the long King’s birthday weekend.

We spent some time with animals, tidying up the garden and splitting and stacking firewood for the colder days to come.
