February was thought to finally bring summer. What it brought instead was more rain – and storm.
How do you transport a goat that does not want to lay down, is somewhat hyperactive (on three legs) and takes interest in everything?
It’s been a few rather wet days. Some with intermittent sunshine but not enough to dry up the ground yet. The cats use the sunny breaks to go outside but other than that they seem to be in hibernation.
If not doing office work, we fix fences, move animals around, collect, cut and chop firewood, dig trenches, build goat houses ;-) and fix all sorts of things that break over time.

They were not considered good and productive enough for the batteries and hence would have been culled if we had not taken them.
We will me missing our cat Cheetah.
We’ve had to say goodbye to our beloved Kahlua yesterday :'( Our loyal companion of 12 years left us very suddenly on Wednesday afternoon.
