Today Shady and his rider Jolan had a first time participation at ribbon day. Both were slightly nervous at stages but did a really good job. The reward was – apart from lots of fun – 13 ribbons if I counted correctly.

It’s been getting cold suddenly – but the weather has been gorgeous
It’s been reasonably warm, sometimes even hoy during the sunny days. But suddenly, and it appeared like that happened overnight, the warm nights turned cold. As in 6° C during the nights. And even the temperature during the day almost halved.
The cows found themselves a cosy spot
We have been using the good weather over the last two days for maintenance and weed spraying outside. I could not initially find our cows. They were hiding in a corner behind the manuka trees.
