Calf feeding during hail storm
Video: Our new calfies Agnes Moo, Abigail Nosy Moo and Angela Moo just arrived last weekend. Agnes has been scouring for the past two days and gets some special care. That day we had a hail storm coming up outside.

Feels like Spring
Such a lovely day today, the cows have been laying in the paddocks sucking up the sunshine, the horses looked happier today even though there is still no grass to eat around and the alpaca boy were having play fight after inspecting us closely.

Winter has its beauties, too
Tatjana took a lovely picture this morning and it’s too cool not to share it. Makes you appreciate nature and our lovely spot again. And another example that mornings can be very special and energizing, even though Tatjana would not agree on that one.

New fluff arrivals – more rescues
We had our lovely cat Kahlua with us for about 12 years, maybe a bit less however after such a long time you lose count – it feels like forever though. You get the idea. After she passed away and we were grieving for some…

Busy weekend

Firewood – stuff you need to do when it’s still dry
Since we only have a horse float that I probably would not be able to get back up the hill (I have never tried but don’t want to), I just loaded Mary’s boot up with the firewood. Note: Mary is our 4×4, everything with motor…
