This chirpy little miracle is ‘Little Niki’, a Cayuga Buff Orpington X our ducks didn’t have enough patience to hatch their eggs, so we put them under our broody hen Fluffy.
A few days ago we found this little chirp under Fluffy’s wings. A duckling hatched by a chicken…
Unfortunately it survived only for 2 days and is now buried in close proximity to our other rescue ducks that did not make it.
So sad.
