It’s been getting cold suddenly – but the weather has been gorgeous

It’s been reasonably warm, sometimes even hoy during the sunny days.

But suddenly, and it appeared like that happened overnight, the warm nights turned cold. As in 6° C during the nights. And even the temperature during the day almost halved.

So we had a few occasions when we lit the fire in the fireplace in the evenings, for the total excitement of our fur babies. Nothing beats a fire for a cat. Naughty cat is still fascinated by fire, and you have to stop him sniffing the hot glass door or attempts to crawl into the fire when you just light it or add wood.

However, the weather remained gorgeous, despite the coldness. Means although the nights are cold, the sun quickly warms up the house again in the mornings. And the solar PV still provides a lot of power. This will become less over the next two to three months but eventually will get better again. Life is a cycle.

A few photographs added for your enjoyment.
