Last night was equinox – the event of the year that happens twice each year when day and night length are the same.
From now the nights will get longer than the days until we hit winter solstice. From there the days will get longer again until some time before Christmas.
Anyway, a good reason to have a bonfire and celebrate with our guests and some friends.
