Happy Earth Day 2022
The warm and humid weather produced lovely field mushrooms to be harvested. Earlier we harvested basil, limes and potatoes.

Diggery-do: digging up the farm
It’s the time of the year again. It’s very dry, the soggy paddocks have dried up and it’s the perfect time to dig out all the drains.

Drylands – no rain in sight
We have not seen much rain in more than 2 months now but rather hot, sunny weather with wind. Both dries out the land, particularly the hillsides facing the Kaipara where the wind blows from and which the hot afternoon sun hits.

Muddy days
It’s been a few rather wet days. Some with intermittent sunshine but not enough to dry up the ground yet. The cats use the sunny breaks to go outside but other than that they seem to be in hibernation.

Springtime again and lovely weather
It’s so nice to get outside between rain break. The weather has been warming up over the the last days and we are getting 20 deg during the day.

Quiet but busy during another Covid-19 lockdown
I picked a few pictures to keep you entertained and maybe – once we are out of lockdown – you may want to drop by for a stay and enjoy some time off. We will be opening in level 2.
