Woken up to the meowing of hungry Silver, the cat, to a quiet world outside other than the sound of the West Coast surf breaking on Muriwai Beach over the hills in the distance. People all asleep.

Keeping predators at bay

Pukeatua farmstay has 12 traps spread around the buildings and the paddocks. Every 2nd day they need checking for any caught rats or hedgehogs.
