This is just an example of the lovely sunsets here.
After being rather busy over the last week before Christmas with a film crew on site and the typical “everything needs to be finished by Christmas” work frantic, we are now all truly in holiday mode.

Who likes the weather when it’s raining and storming outside? No one – well, maybe the odd people that are happy that their grass is growing, like us humans inside. Oh, and the ducks! The ducks love it.
Day one of not going out to anywhere, not having contact with anybody outside the property in an attempt to flatten the infection curve. National state of emergency.
A memorable sunset // NZ commences a few weeks of ‘lockdown’ in attempt to flatten the curve to fight Coronavirus.
Not that we lost winter in a hole, but the valley got so soggy over the years that we used the still good autumn weather to dig drainage in preparation for the wet winter time.
We have a herd of super-friendly alpacas and two of them, our junior boys, were born at our place.
Meet our two big buddies – Rusty and Shady are our two horses.
Just a short post – wanting to share the amazing light in the valley tonight.
Such a lovely day today, the cows have been laying in the paddocks sucking up the sunshine, the horses looked happier today even though there is still no grass to eat around and the alpaca boy were having play fight after inspecting us closely.
